For information about our Lord’s Day worship, see below…
Biblically-speaking, our whole life must be dedicated to worship. By faith in Christ man can once again worship God properly. Our worship must be…
GOD Centered — Only the one living and true Triune God is the proper focus of worship. In congregational worship we buildup and encourage one-another, but the center of our worship is God. (Psalm 29.2)
GOD Regulated — We are not left to grope in the dark wondering how to worship God; he has told us in his holy, complete, and infallible word: the Bible. We have the privilege of worshiping God in the beauty of holiness. (Exodus 20.3-4)
GOD Empowered — Those who worship God properly worship him in spirit and truth. When the spirit indwells a worshiper we expect to see joyful praise, honest confession, heart-felt thanksgiving, and humble supplication. (Psalm 95.1-5)
We worship in song aiming to edify worshipers and glorify God. New songs are continually added to our repertoire to comprise a blend of historic hymns and metrical psalms.
Under Resources > Songs [here] you’ll find links to the audio and lyrics so you can practice them as part of your personal and family worship.
The Lord’s Table
We celebrate communion weekly according to the practices of “open communion” and “covenant communion.” In terms of open communion: we welcome to the Table baptized Christians in good standing with their Bible-believing local church. In terms of covenant communion: we welcome to the Table believing church members and their children.
Included here are some sample worship guides. The readings and song selections vary week-to-week; but this sample from the past year will give you a glimpse of how we — as a congregation — worship the Lord.
